The Speed Networking Event at the Student Broadcast and Sports Seminar offers employers, colleges, and universities a unique platform to connect with Kansas' brightest future broadcasters. Each participating organization will host a table, while students rotate between tables in timed five-minute increments. This dynamic and fast-paced format allows industry professionals to share information about their stations, organizations, or educational institutions, discuss internship and job opportunities, and meet promising students eager to launch their broadcasting careers. It's the perfect opportunity to inspire, recruit, and build meaningful connections!

This registration form is exclusively for the networking session. If you plan to attend the seminar and reserve a table for the networking event, you must complete this registration for the networking session and separately register for the seminar using its designated form.

For Stations:
One of the menu option initiatives under the FCC’s Outreach Prong 3 is “participation in at least four job fairs or career fairs by personnel who have substantial responsibility in the making of hiring decisions.” Full SEU participation in each job/career fair should earn the SEU a 1/4 credit. Of course, on any legal issue, we suggest you confirm the credit you will receive with your station’s attorney.
