Entry-Level Web Developer / Software Engineer

Zimmer Marketing is looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Web Developer to join our growing team in Joplin, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of web development, particularly with modern JavaScript frameworks and headless web development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the development and maintenance of websites and applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Svelte, Vue.js, or Angular)

- Learn to integrate frontend applications with headless CMS platforms and APIs

- Support the optimization of frontend performance and user experience

- Collaborate with team members on various projects while gaining hands-on experience

- Participate in project management using Basecamp for client communication

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

- Some experience or coursework in Web Development (internships or personal projects are acceptable)

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

- Familiarity with at least one JavaScript framework (React, Svelte, Vue.js, or Angular) is a plus

Required Skills:

- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

- Attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Basic understanding of web accessibility principles

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Interest in headless web development concepts

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
