KSN-TV is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer in Wichita, Kansas.

The Maintenance Engineer participates in managing and maintaining all broadcast and technology-related equipment within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain broadcast and technology-related equipment.
• Assist with compliance with FCC regulations and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
• Help implement new technologies and technical infrastructure.
• Participate in engineering and other technical projects.
• Evaluate, install, service, and maintain broadcast equipment and IT systems.
• Work closely with management and staff to ensure company objectives are met.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of broadcast engineering experience.
• Ability to terminate broadcast and IT-related cables.
• Experience with broadcast automation systems, routers, video-storage devices, SAN storage, satellite ground stations, and RF equipment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Desktop support and IT administration experience.
• Ability to prioritize assignments, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and occasional overnight travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
