KAKE, the ABC affiliate in Wichita, Kansas, has a full-time on-camera Meteorologist position available.

Primary duties will be a mix of on-air, weather producing, digital and special projects. 

This position is involved on-air during continuous severe weather coverage.  Radar interpretation skills, including the ability to value add and properly communicate threats live on-air, rather than rely solely on NWS is paramount.

The successful applicant must be an AMS CBM, or meet the qualifications to obtain. The ability to forecast, create on-air/digital weather content, and present live from in-studio or on-location is required.
