KSNW-TV in Wichita, Kansas, is seeking a talented and experienced Meteorologist to join our award-winning weather team in one of the most active weather markets in the country.

This is an exciting opportunity for a weather professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about forecasting, severe weather coverage, and audience engagement across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong forecasting and radar interpretation skills, communicate complex weather information clearly and effectively, and embrace digital storytelling through social media, podcasts, and online content.

As a Meteorologist at KSNW, you will forecast and prepare weather content for television and digital platforms, anchor weathercasts, provide continuous severe weather coverage when needed, and actively engage with the community. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding on-air presentation skills, a collaborative attitude, and a commitment to serving viewers with accurate and timely weather information.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or equivalent required
• Minimum two years of professional broadcast meteorology experience
• AMS/CBM and/or NWA Seal preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Strong forecasting and Dual Pol Doppler Radar interpretation skills
• Experience creating content for digital and social media platforms
• Knowledge of Baron weather systems preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) skills are a plus

This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during severe weather events.
