KAKE Creative Services is looking for a full time Multi-Media Producer to contribute to KAKE’s local marketing and client sales efforts. The job is based at KAKE’s main studio in Wichita, KS, but serves clients and viewers throughout Kansas.

Primary Duties:

• Write, shoot, direct, and edit commercials for clients and promotional materials for the station and its properties.
• Coordinate and produce compelling, interactive content on multiple platforms, from web contests and social media, to on-air newscast graphics.
• Regularly scheduled office and administration work will be required.
• Occasional travel within the state of Kansas will be required for commercial shoots.
• Occasional evening/weekend work will be required at community events.

Qualifications:

• Two years’ non-linear editing, motion graphic animation, and video shooting experience required.
• Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud products preferred.
• Strong aptitude for new technology.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills to work directly with clients and the KAKE newsroom staff.
• Must be self-motivating, and a disciplined self-starter, with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must be competitive, with a positive spirit and strong team collaborator.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds is required.
• Must have a valid and good driving record.
